The Wild West came to Dunfermline for the 2008 Gala and it was a rootin' tootin' rip roaring success. The stars of the show were the 3,000 children and the parents that got dressed up in theme for the Dunfermline Children's Gala procession.

The four-horse drawn stagecoach was a great crowd pleaser as were the giant praying mantas and multi-coloured stilt walkers. The musical entertainment from the various pipe, brass and silver bands was much appreciated by the crowd. 

The Chariots of Fire pony and carriage display in the Glen was superb as were the Drakes of Hazard. The Lonestar showed what the Wild West was like with their re-enactment show.
